MAC Performance started out as a hobby for founder Mack Jones who built a few custom exhaust kits for a few of his friends' motorcycles. Mack's part-time hobby gradually evolved into a full-fledged business that opened its doors in 1970 producing aftermarket mufflers for popular Honda motorcycles. MAC's motorcycle operations took off from there and eventually allowed MAC to expand to the general automotive industry with their revolutionary header designs for the 5.0L Windsor Fox Body Mustangs. The huge performance gains from these headers accelerated them to legendary status and helped to push MAC deeper into the Mustang performance parts sector. By far their most successful lineup of parts has been their ProChamber series of mid-pipes that provide huge power gains.

MAC has greatly expanded their product inventory to not only include headers, but also cold air intakes, cat-back exhausts, strut tower braces, and much more. MAC has had 40 years to finely hone their craftsmanship, and they have done it in style.
