Mustang Spring Questions
Question: How much should I lower my Mustang?
Answer: We strongly suggest a 1.5 inch lowering kit. 2 inch will work but the ride quality is not good.
Question: Should I pay a shop to install my springs? Answer: Springs are not hard to install with the correct tools (spring compressor). If you do not have the proper tools we suggest paying a shop to do the work. We also install these at our install shop in Phoenix, AZ. Question: I am buying lowering springs for my mustang. Do I have to buy shocks and struts at the same time? Answer: You do not have to change your shocks and struts. However, If you dont change these at the same time you may experience a rough ride. You would want to upgrade the shocks and struts if you want a good ride quality, or if you have over 60,000 miles on those shocks and struts.
