The following installation guide works for:

2005-2010 Mustang GT SLP Loud-Mouth Axle Back Exhaust - SLPM31014

SLP Loud-Mouth Axle Back Exhaust kit includes:

2 (two) SLP Loudmouth Axle-Back pipes, 2 (two) 3.5" dual-wall tips, 4 (four) Bolted Band Clamps

Tools you may need:

Adjustable Wrench, Socket Wrench, Extension, 13mm socket, WD40, Flat Head Screw Driver, Jack, Jack Stands

Jack up the rear of your 2005-2010 Mustang GT and support with jack stands.

Use the 15mm socket to loosen the bolts on the band clamps that secure the driver side axle back to the over-the-axle pipes.

Use the 13mm socket to loosen and remove the bolts (both vertical and horizontal) that hold the rear rubber isolator bracket.

You may need to use some WD40 to help loosen the bolts and band clamps.

Remove the rubber isolators. Keep track of which side the bolts, band clamps, and isolators belong on.

Slide your stock axle back off of the over-the-axle pipe. Slide the muffler hanger out of the front rubber isolator and remove your stock axle back exhaust.

Slide two of the supplied band clamps over the driver side Loud-Mouth axle back exhaust.

Slide the driver side Loud-Mouth axle back exhaust onto your Mustang's over-the-axle pipe.

Insert the Loud-Mouth axle back exhaust's hanger into the rubber isolator bracket nearest to the axle.

Slide the polished tip over the installed portion of your Loud-Mouth axle back.

Slide the rubber isolator bracket you removed earlier over the free hanger.

Re-install the rubber isolator bracket in its stock location using the 13mm socket and factory bolts.

Make sure your new axle back doesn't rub on the chassis, body or any moving parts. Inspect to make sure your exhaust tip sticks out an acceptable length from the bumper. Adjust as needed.

When you are satisfied with the fit and location of your Loud-Mouth axle back exhaust system, use the supplied band clamp bolts to tighten one clamp where the axle back joins to the over-the-axle pipe.

Tighten the other clamp where the axle back exhaust pipe joins to the exhaust tip.

Repeat steps 1 through 4 for the passenger side.

Be sure to check your 2005-2010 Mustang GT's Loud-Mouth axle back system after driving. Re-align and re-tighten if necessary.
