Your mustang's throttle body allows air into the motor. So, you can get a huge cold air intake and free flowing exhaust, but you will still have a restriction of air at the throttle body. Its kind of a case of "The chain is only as strong as the weakest link". A Mustang throttle body is a great upgrade after you get your Mustang Cold Air Intake installed. You should also look at adding an axle back or cat back Mustang Exhaust Kit, before upgrading the throttle body.
