Underdrive pulleys are the perfect solution for the pilot of a naturally-aspirated Mustang looking for every ounce of spare horsepower that the engine has to offer without investing a ton of money in a forced induction system. We carry pulleys from high-quality aftermarket manufacturers like BBK, Steeda, and ROUSH. Despite their slightly different designs, all of the underdrive pulleys at Stage 3 Motorsports function in similar ways by giving your engine back horsepower by slowing down the rotational speeds of your Mustang's belt-driven accessories. This slowing action provides more power to your engine for increased flywheel horsepower. Underdrive pulleys work extremely well with both cold air intakes and throttle bodies, but are only for naturally aspirated Mustangs.

At Stage 3 Motorsports we offer the BBK and Steeda brands of Mustang Underdrive pulleys. The BBK brand tends to be cheaper and has a polished finish. BBK now offers a bolt on kit and a kit with a complete replacement harmonic balancer. All of the steeda kits come with a harmonic balancer.

We suggest using only a mustang under drive pulley kit that replaces the stock harmonic balancer. Remember; your mustangs engine is balanced, bolting on a crank pulley that isn't balanced could cause an issue down the road.
