The ROUSH Extreme lowering kit offers greatly improved handling by lowering the overall height of the Mustang to create a lower center of gravity and stance. ROUSH's springs will allow your S197 to whip around hard turns and handle the toughest acceleration and braking smoothly. This set of four springs for the front and rear of the S197 includes jounce bumpers and fits 2005 to 2010 Mustangs fitted with stock shocks and struts.
The springs cause the front chassis to lower by 1-1/4" while the rear drops by 1-1/2". The lowering effect decreases body roll through turns, squat on the rear during acceleration and nose diving on the front springs during hard braking. ROUSH's springs were manufactured and extensively tested in the United States at ROUSH's own production facilities. These springs are only recommended for naturally-aspirated Mustangs.
Wheels: ROUSH recommends using ROUSH wheels with their springs.
High horsepower applications: For supercharged vehicles, ROUSH recommends using their Stage 3 Suspension kit to handle the increased power and torque.
