2005-2009 Roush Mustang Stage 3 Conversion Package

The ROUSH Stage 3 Conversion kit features nearly everything you need for perfectly cloning the look, feel, sound and raw power of ROUSH's famed Stage 3 Mustangs. The full cloning kit alters every possible aspect of your Mustang to turn it into a road and track dominator. The Stage 3 conversion package is a Stage 3 Motorsports signature kit and contains a ROUSH Complete Pre-Painted body kit, ROUSH's suspension kit, a choice of axle-back exhausts, a powerful ROUSH M90 supercharger system, a set of four ROUSH 18x10" wheels, a pair of ROUSH fender badges and a silver windshield banner with the ROUSH name.

Improving on the excellent Stage 2 Total Conversion, this Stage 3 kit utilizes the impressive ROUSH M90 supercharger that instantly adds 135hp and 80ft/lbs of torque onto the GT's 4.6L V8. The M90 is a roots-style supercharger system that uses a pair of internal rotors to dump large quantities of air into the combustion chamber. Each supercharger package includes intake manifold, air-to-water intercooler system, high flow fuel injectors, induction system and 73mm pulleys that deliver up to 5psi of boost. Your Mustang's computer will require a retuning after installation. ROUSH includes a box with prepaid overnight shipping for the PCM so ROUSH technicians can efficiently remap your engine settings.

The second new addition to the Stage 3 conversion kit are the ROUSH chrome 18x10" wheels that are stamped with the ROUSH name and come in a five-spoke configuration. Each wheel has a hub-centric design with a 7-1/4" backspacing and a 45mm offset. These wheels are compatible with ROUSH brake kits and many other aftermarket brake systems.

The ROUSH Complete Pre-Painted body kit is still an integral part of the Stage 3 system's exterior considerations. The body kit includes a front fascia, rear valance, rocker moldings, a chin spoiler, quarter window louvers and a three-piece rear wing. All of ROUSH's body kit items are manufactured in the United States at ROUSH's own plastics plant. ROUSH uses high quality thermal plastic olefin and ABS plastic for each piece. The body kit fits together seamlessly to create an aggressive, race-ready appearance for your Mustang.

Every Stage 3 package features a ROUSH suspension kit that allows you to throw your now ROUSHcharged S197 around the sharpest corners and take the most high performance turns with ease. The included shocks, struts and springs lower both the front and rear chassis by one inch which reduces body roll and acceleration squat for a smoother, tighter ride. ROUSH includes front and rear stabilizer bars that stiffen the chassis and prevent flex during cornering. The suspension kit comes with jounce bumpers and all of the required bushings.

Each axle-back exhaust comes in two variants (a street legal and off-road) available from our drop-down menu. ROUSH's exhaust uses tips with rectangular designs that are specifically designed to fit the exhaust ports of the rear valance included in the ROUSH body kit. The exhaust system is made of mandrel-bent 304 stainless steel tubes that have integrated performance mufflers. The kit is able to produce huge sound while boosting both fuel economy and power.

Exterior dress-up items come standard with each Stage 3 kit and include a pair of ROUSH fender badges with the classic "R" logo and a silver ROUSH windshield banner. Both items are simple stick-on accessories that don't require drilling or other modifications.

Tuning: The Stage 3 Conversion will require tuning. ROUSH includes a free tune for their supercharger, but for customers with heavily modified Mustangs, (aftermarket headers, cold air intakes, etc.) we recommend taking advantage of Stage 3's custom tuning package that comes with SCT's X-Calibrator 3 handheld tuner and qualifies you for our Loyalty Tunes Program.
