These official ROUSH hood struts and brackets are stylish additions to your Mustang's engine bay that also completely eliminate the need for the clunky stock hood prop. Each gas-charged hood strut lifts the hood to greater angle than the factory prop and allows you to show off all of engine compartment modifications and gives you more headroom to work on the S197's engine. ROUSH's hood struts fit 2005 to 2012 Mustangs without the need for permanent modifications.
The struts and brackets come standard with a black e-coat and are specifically designed to work with the factory hood. The included brackets are laser-cut with the ROUSH name in prominent lettering. The strut kit is a direct-bolt on accessory that uses factory mounting points. Installation is simple and can take less than 15 minutes. This item usually ships out of our warehouse in 1 day.
