2005-2008 Mustang Steeda Ultimate Power Pak

This performance package from Steeda Autosports features some of the same excellent upgrades found on the Q335 project car that Steeda extensively toured around the United States. Steeda's Ultimate Power Pak features all of the parts necessary to change your stock S197 into an serious track and street performance car. Steeda's kit is specifically designed for 2005 to 2008 GT Mustangs with naturally aspirated 3V 4.6L V8s. The kit comes with Steeda's High Velocity Cold Air kit, Steeda underdrive pulleys, a pair of Steeda charge motion plates, Steeda's axle-back exhaust, a set of 4.10:1 ring and pinion gears, a gear install kit and an SCT X-Calibrator 3 preloaded with an aggressive Steeda tune that will give you Mustang efficient use of all of Steeda's parts.

Steeda's cold air intake is one of the best CAI systems currently on the Mustang aftermarket. The kit is purpose-built to pour a huge volume of cool charge air directly into your Mustang's engine. Steeda's intake comes with a reusable cotton air filter and a massive heat shield with rubber trim that forms a tight seal against the hood and fender.

The charge motion plates included with this kit delete the control valves on the Mustang's engine and are .070" larger than the stock plates and have a better port match to the intake manifold and cylinder heads to reduce air turbulence into the combustion chamber. The more efficient airflow increases both horsepower and torque.

Steeda rounds out the S197's engine compartment with a set of SFI approved underdrive pulleys that limit the amount of engine power that your belt-driven vehicle accessories receive in order to drop more horsepower onto the rear wheels. Steeda manufactures each pulley from high-quality steel and injection molded rubber.

To generate a massive launch and to retain more horsepower through the power band, Steeda includes new 4.10 racing gears for your rear differential. This performance gear set greatly increases acceleration and launching ability to lower ETs and bring your Mustang down to under 13 seconds without having to invest in a turbo or supercharger system. The gears have a CNC machined forged construction and are guaranteed to last. Steeda includes an installation kit to simplify the relatively complex job into something far more manageable.

For the exhaust system, Steeda provides a complete axle-back system that bolts directly onto the stock h-pipe aft of the catalytic converters. The kit features a set of straight-through mufflers and is built entirely out of T-304 stainless steel with 4" polished tips. Steeda's axle-back optimizes exhaust outflow for reduced back pressure and massive sound. The overall improvement in exhaust performance rewards you with horsepower, torque and improved fuel efficiency.

In order to get the most out of the Power Pak, Steeda gives you an SCT X-Calibrator 3 preloaded with a tune specifically made to accommodate all of the kit components' uprated performance characteristics. Steeda's tuning allows your Mustang to easily reach the 350hp range with back-breaking torque.
