This slightly redesigned version of Steeda's High Velocity cold air kit has been modified for use with Mach 1 Mustangs to preserve the function of the full function of their Shaker Hood Scoops while boosting horsepower and torque at the same time. Steeda's cold air kit mounts in the same position as the original stock air box and comes with a heat shield with a provision for the Shaker Hood scoop tubing. The intake features a unique velocity stack design that adds up to 9 horsepower with 13 extra foot-pounds of torque.
Every kit comes with a Steeda Lifetime Air filter that can be washed and re-oiled as part of a standard service interval for the life of your Mach 1. The housing and heat shield is manufactured from stainless steel and come with all necessary installation hardware and instructions.
