2005-2009 Mustang 4.0L V6 Steeda High Velocity Cold Air Kit

Steeda's High Velocity Cold Air Intake is, arguably, one of the most powerful CAI systems currently on the market for the S197. This version is specifically designed for the 4.0L Cologne V6 of base model Mustangs and offers a huge boost in both horsepower and torque by pouring massive amounts of cool air into the combustion chamber. Gains of up to 16rwhp are typically seen after the required tuning. This kit will fit 2005 to 2009 V6 Mustangs as a direct replacement for the restrictive stock airbox.

Each kit comes standard with a reusable conical filter, a specialized MAF housing and a complete heat shield with rubber trim. The filter only needs to be cleaned and reoiled on a regular basis to ensure proper function. Steeda's MAF housing uses smooth velocity stacks that allow for unrestricted airflow through the inlet piping. Each heat shield presses against both the hood and fender in a tight seal that keeps hot engine air away from the filter assembly for inlet temperatures that are within 10 degrees Fahrenheit of ambient.

Steeda's CAI kit comes with all necessary hardware and instructions. The system is easy to install as a drop-in replacement for the factory airbox and filter.
