A heat exchanger is like a radiator for your Mustang's supercharger. The more effective your heat exchanger, the cooler your supercharger runs and the more power it makes.
Steeda's Mustang heat exchanger upgrade provides a 166% increase in cooling capacity over the stock GT 500 component. This isn't surprising. When it comes to cooling, surface area is the most important factor. Steeda's heat exchanger measures 6'' x 26'' x 4'', providing a dramatic increase in surface area over the GT 500's stock component.
This heat exchanger is a perfect upgrade for the Shelby GT 500 and supercharged Mustang GT, and with minor modifications it is also compatible with Roush and Saleen Mustangs.
Steeda's heat exchanged comes with all mounting hardware for easy installation on the Shelby GT500.
