Steeda Adjustable Upper Rear Control Arms
w/ Rod Ends & Bushings
This version of Steeda's adjustable upper rear control arms come with a set of spherical rod ends that add even more improvement onto your Mustang's handling ability. Steeda's control arms are designed to reduce the amount of wheel hop the rear axle experiences during hard launches or under heavy acceleration. The control arms are double-adjustable and can be fine-tuned to your specific suspension components to find your perfect suspension geometry. The control arms also reduce the side to side "shimmy" of your Mustang's rear end during cornering, as well, giving you more control over your Pony during tough corners. Steeda's control arms fit most 1979 to 2004 Mustangs, but will not fit 1999 to 2004 SVT Cobras with the stock independent rear suspension system.
While Steeda's control arms do a good job of keeping the rear axle in check, the spherical tie rods practically eliminate suspension deflection and keep your suspension functioning more predictably and smoothly at the cost of some extra noise, vibration, and harshness. The control arms themselves work by slightly altering your Mustang's driveshaft to differential pinion angle and allows you to hold your tires to the pavement for more efficient power transfer. The control arms also come with three-piece bushings that firm up your rear suspension and reduce deflection for improved responsiveness. Each control arm kit comes with a pair of control arms, bushings, and rod ends.
