2005-2009 Mustang Steeda Lightweight Radiator Support

This radiator support design from Steeda has two main objectives: save weight, and unlike most other aftermarket radiator supports, preserve the use of your front sway bar for daily use and road racing events. Steeda's radiator support is half the weight of the stock version to shave nearly 8lbs of weight off the S197's extremely heavy front chassis. This radiator support is generally intended for drag racing applications, but its light weight and sturdy construction makes it perfect for other types of racing and motor sport events. This radiator support is designed to as a direct replacement for the heavy stock version on 2005 to 2009 Mustangs.

Each radiator support installs using the stock mounting points and hardware. The stock sway bar or most aftermarket stabilizer bars that mount in the stock locations can still be used. The bars are manufactured from 4130 chromoly steel tubing that gives Steeda's support its extremely light weight with similar or greater strength than the factory radiator support system. The supports are TIG welded and receive a silver metal flake powder coating to optimize corrosion resistance. This radiator support is a simple bot-on piece that can be installed in only a few hours.

Fitment: Steeda's radiator support will not fit 2007 to 2011 GT500s.
