2005-2013 Mustang GT / GT500 Steeda Rear Brake Upgrade Kit

In developing their 2005-2013 Mustang rear brake kit, Steeda drew on years of IMSA experience going back its days of racing the '93 and '95 Cobra R. As a result, when combined with Steeda's front brake kit, this brake upgrade delivers optimum braking under all conditions.

Steeda's 2005-2013 Mustang GT / GT500 rear brake kit is the lightest of its kind on the market, resulting in less unsprung weight and rotating mass. The large vented rotors provide better cooling and are slotted to dissipate heat, thereby reducing brake fade. The brackets are manufactured from aircraft grade aluminum for greater strength and lighter weight.

Steeda's kit retains the excellent Ford factory caliper, and maintains the proper piston size for compatibility with the sensitive Mustang anti-lock brake system. This also allows for easy sourcing of replacement brake pads and friction compounds. Steeda's 13'' rear brake upgrade for the 2005-2013 Mustang has better wheel fitment choices than other manufacturer's 14'' rear brake kits.

Also included in this American Made rear brake kit are stainless steel braided brake hoses featuring factory brackets for easy OE install.
