American Racing Headers (ARH) 1-5/8" Long Tube Headers
w/ Off-road X-Pipe
American Racing Headers manufactures all of their exhaust components with both performance and quality in mind. Both the long tube headers and off-road x-pipe that come with this package are built entirely out of 304 stainless steel that is both strong and completely corrosion-resistant. This kit can give you already powerful Cobra a25 to 40 horsepower bump in total power output, depending on your other performance modifications. The kit is designed to fit the 4V 4.6L V8 engine of 1999 to 2004 SVT Cobras.
The set of headers have a tough, 3/8" flange that hooks up to your engine's exhaust ports. Each primary tube is 1-5/8" in diameter and carefully mandrel-bent to ensure that back pressure doesn't rob you of horsepower. The primaries meet in 2-1/2" collectors with built-in velocity spikes that allow for the fast and efficient scavenging of exhaust gasses into the mid-pipe.
American Racing's off-road x-pipe consists of 2-1/2" mandrel-bent tubing that promotes better exhaust flow than the crimped factory mid-pipe. American Racing also deleted the catalytic converters from their design to gain even more horsepower, at the expense of making this kit for off-road track and competition use only.
This kit comes with installation hardware, fittings, and oxygen sensor extensions.

This kit requires custom tuning. We recommend taking advantage of Stage 3's custom tuning package that comes with SCT's X-Calibrator 3 handheld tuner and qualifies you for our Loyalty Tunes program.
