Mustang BBK Sub-frame Reinforcement Connector Set
Lateral chassis flex has been an issue with the Mustang since its inception, but are good friends over at BBK Performance have worked out a solution. Their Gripp Series of subframe connectors shore up your Mustang or Cobra's chassis, adding stiffness and grealy reducing the amount of flex that the entire chassis can experience when placed under extreme suspension loads and cornering forces. These subframe braces fit nearly any 1994 to 2004 Mustangs and SVT Cobras.
The subframe braces are manufactured out of ultra-tough boxed steel that stretches the entire length of your Mustang's body for one of the most complete chassis reinforcements on the market. These braces can simply be bolted to either end of the subframe, though BBK strongly recommends having them welded into place for extra security. Each brace is fully sealed and receives a charcoal grey metallic powder coat finish. Some Cobra models will require the removal of the front subframe bracket for proper fitment over the transmission crossmember.
