BMR Tubular Radiator Support
High-end drag racing applications require as much weight removal as possible in order to maximize the S197's power-to-weight ratio in order to get those podium finishes and cheering crowds. BMR Fabrication purpose-built their radiator support to cut weight from the Mustang's front chassis by using a tubular design that also completely deletes the front sway bar. BMR's radiator support fits 2005 to 2010 GT Mustangs as a direct OEM replacement.
Instead of using solid stamped steel like the factory's design, BMR manufactures each of its radiator supports from tubular steel that has nearly the same strength at a much lighter weight. With the deletion of the sway bar, BMR's design can shave up to 26.5lbs off of your Mustang. Installation is fairly straightforward and reuses the factory bolts and plastic bumper cover. The sway bar comes in a choice of red or Black Hammertone color that is available from our drop-down menu.
