Canton designed this surge tank for the aggressive street-driven Cobra that needs serious engine cooling to get every last ounce of power out that 4V 4.6L V8 engine. This supercharger tank mounts in the battery box's factory position and will require the relocation of your battery for proper fitment. Canton builds each of their surge tanks from .100 gauge aluminum and designed them to fit 1996 to 2004 Cobras.
Each tank features a large, top-mounted opening that's perfect for ice-packing for the little bit of extra cooling and brutal power. Canton includes a pressure relief provision to release excess psi during tough street driving or road racing. The tank is carefully TIG welded and extensively pressure tested to ensure reliability and performance.
