Corbeau CR1 Black Cloth Racing Seat - Wide Version
The CR1 racing seat from Corbeau is one of the most comfortable and well-designed seats in the massive Corbeau arsenal. The CR1 can be mounted into almost any vehicle that can install one of Corbeau's seat brackets. Each CR1 is built to maximize comfort during hard driving, be it on the road or off. The CR1 is able to fully recline using a standard lever system to allow ergonomic and comfort adjustments that fixed-back seats can't provide.
Corbeau builds each CR1 around a tough, powder coated steel frame that allows the seat to stand p to the toughest road conditions. A black cloth exterior covers the entire seat and is treated with unique UV inhibitors that prevent sun damage. Leatherette patches on the bolsters and head protect the seat from undue wear and fraying. The huge bolsters add a graceful, sloping form to the CR1 while providing full lateral support for the thighs, kidneys and shoulders for excellent drivability. The unique bolster design reduces driver and passenger movement during high-g driving to prevent fatigue. Corbeau's high density foam is injection molded into the CR1's shape. The foam reacts to heat transfer and will form to the rider's body to increase the seat's comfort.
A four-point racing harness can be used with the CR1 in it's standard configuration by utilizing the built-in belt pass-through cutouts. The addition of an optional submarine slot allows for the proper use of a full five-point racing harness.
This CR1 variant is Corbeau's "Wide" design and can fit larger riders with up to a 40in waist. A smaller, standard option is also available and can comfortably seat drivers with up to a 36in waist.
