Corbeau CR1 Red Cloth Racing Seat
The 27lb CR1 racing seat from power brand Corbeau is a popular option for both the avid racer and the daily driver alike. The large, curvy lateral bolsters add an aggressive overtone to the seat design while providing a level of comfort completely missing from stock seats and other aftermarket competitors. The CR1 can almost universally fit into an vehicle capable of mounting Corbeau seat brackets on either the driver's or front passenger's side. Every CR1 has fully functional reclining ability that uses a standard side lever for personal adjustments.
The red cloth exterior of this CR1 is treated with extremely effective UV inhibitors that prevent sun damage and color wash-out. The cloth is embedded with black leatherette patches to protect high-wear areas from fraying and other damage. Three sets of bolsters line each side of the CR1 to give full lateral support to the shoulders, kidneys and thighs while keeping each rider in optimum seating positions to reduce fatigue. Corbeau's high density, injection molded foam forms to the rider's body with the transfer of body heat to create the comfortable ride that Corbeau is renown for. Every seat is built around a strong, powder coated tubular steel frame that's strong enough to handle most race abuse.
Four-point harnesses can be used with the CR1 by utilizing the cutouts built into the seat backing with the shoulder belts. A five-point racing harness can be used with the purchase of the optional submarine slot from our drop-down menu. The CR1 is made to comfortably fit riders with up to 36in waists. A larger version that can seat riders with 40in waists is also available.
