Corbeau CR1 Red Cloth Racing Seat - Wide Version

The 27lb CR1 racing seat series utilizes Corbeau's extensive racing heritage in every aspect of its design. The oversized bolsters generate the graceful curves that run down either side of the seat while perfectly fitting the form of the driver and front passenger. The CR1 is specifically designed to hold the rider in place and prevent horizontal movement to reduce fatigue. Rider-adjustable comfort levels are made possible with the fully-functional reclining mechanism that uses a standard lever control. This seat requires a vehicle-specific Corbeau seat bracket for proper fitment.

Corbeau uses high density, injection molded foam to create the unique shape of the CR1. The foam contact molds with body heat to fit the shape of rider for excellent comfort. The foam is supported by a heavy-duty tubular steel frame that's powder coated for extreme durability and corrosion resistance. The red anti-slip cloth present on this version is treated with UV inhibitors to enhance sun protection. Leatherette patches are installed in wear-prone areas to reduce fray and tearing. The CR1 has bolsters for the shoulders, kidneys and thighs for complete lateral support. The bolster system locks the rider in place during hard cornering to minimize fatigue.

The CR1 is compatible with most four-point harnesses with two cutouts in the seat back expressly made for shoulder straps. The CR1 can be adapted to fit full five-point racing harnesses with the purchase of the optional submarine slot from our drop-down menu.

This "Wide" version of Corbeau's CR1has increased width through the seat bottom and bolsters and can accommodate riders with up to 40in waists. The standard variant can fit 36in waists comfortably.
