Corbeau CR1 Grey Cloth Racing Seat - Wide Version

This version of Corbeau's CR1 series of racing seats is purpose-built for larger drivers and passengers, but still maintains Corbeau's reputation of excellent comfort, safety and performance. Every CR1 has large bolsters on both sides of the seat that offer excellent lateral support and unequaled levels of safety by preventing side to side movement during hard cornering on the track or standard roads. Corbeau seats require the installation of a mounting bracket specific to your particular year, make and model. The seats themselves can fit into almost any vehicle.

Each CR1 has an exceptionally strong powder coated tubular steel frame that can take serious abuse. Corbeau uses injection molded, high density foam for the seat's padding and shape. The foam forms to the rider's body when put in contact with sufficient body heat to maximize the CR1's creature comforts. The gray cloth covering is coated in UV inhibitors that help retain the seat color and prevent sun damage. Every bolster and head backing receive leatherette patches to prevent fraying and damage in high-wear areas. The huge, sloping bolsters fully support the thighs, kidneys and shoulders of the rider for full lateral support and reducing driver fatigue.

This "wide" variety of Corbeau's CR1 allows riders with up to a 40in waist to fit comfortably. The standard gray cloth version can fit up to a 36in waist. The built-in cutouts within the seat allow the should straps of a four-point harness to fit through. An optional submarine slot is available from our drop-down menu and allows the CR1 to accept a full five-point racing harness for more serious track needs.

The CR1 requires a Corbeau seat bracket for installation.
