Corbeau FX1 Black Cloth/Red Inserts Racing Seat

Corbeau's FX1 racing seat is an absolute necessity for anyone looking for a purpose-built, high performance racing platform that doesn't skimp on comfort or safety considerations. The FX1 utilizes a fiberglass composite shell to keep its total weight to around 20lbs. The seat features Corbeau's trademark support bolsters for the shoulders, thighs and kidneys that run down each side of the seat and create an aggressive and race-ready profile while keeping the riders firmly in place through some of the most intense road, track and off-road driving possible. Every FX1 fits into virtually any car or truck on the road that's capable of installing a Corbeau seat bracket in the place of the stock driver or front passenger's seat.

This FX1 has a dual color scheme with black cloth covering the rear seat back and bolsters and red cloth inserts on the seating areas of the seat bottom and back. Leatherette patches cover the contact areas of the bolsters and seat bottom to defend against wear and fraying. All of the cloth surfaces are coated in UV inhibitors that prevent color loss and other damage caused by ultraviolet light. The seat's fiberglass shell is rigid enough to handle most road, track and off-road conditions. The lower bolsters are configured into a unique "rail" pattern that prevents horizontal movement of the rider and greatly reduces fatigue.

Each FX1 has integrated slots in the backing, bolsters and bottom that allows for the direct use of four-point and five-point racing harnesses right after seat installation. The rear backing also has a built-in bolt that can be used with most back braces.

This variant of the FX1 is slightly larger than Corbeau's standard seat and can accommodate riders with up to 38in waists. The FX1 "wide" can fit riders with 42in waists while the FX1 Pro is for riders with 36in waists. Corbeau's seats can be installed into almost any car or truck that can fit a Corbeau seat bracket for the specific year, make and model of vehicle. The brackets are sold separately in single sets for the driver or passenger side.
