Corbeau FX1 Pro Black Cloth/Red Inserts Racing Seat

Corbeau gave this version of their vaunted FX1 racing seat a two-toned cloth color scheme to match the aggressive curves of this fully functional racing seat to give it racing-inspired form as well. The FX1 blends lightweight materials and Corbeau's outstanding design philosophies to be one of the best performing and most comfortable racing seats on the aftermarket. Each FX1 has an angled fixed back structure that comes off the seat bottom at 71 degrees for perfect rider form. The seat clocks in at just 20lbs and is able to fit into any vehicle that can install a Corbeau seat bracket in place of the stock seats.

Black cloth covers the exterior of the bolsters and rear seat back while red cloth inserts blanket the seating areas of the bottom and backing. UV inhibitors are infused into all of the cloth surfaces to protect the seat from sun damage and color loss. Leatherette patches are present on the high wear sections of the bolsters and seat bottom to eliminate fraying. Full later support is provided by the oversized bolsters for the shoulders, kidneys and thighs that make the seat comfortable while holding the rider firmly in place during high performance driving and intense maneuvering. The lower bolsters form a unique "rail" framework that prevents horizontal movement and reduces rider fatigue. Corbeau builds every FX1 around a lightweight fiberglass shell that's still durable enough to handle most driving conditions without adding tons of weight to your vehicle.

The FX1 has a built in submarine slot, two backing slots and two bolster slots that allow for the use of four-point and five-point racing harnesses directly out of the box. Each seat has an integrated bolt in the rear backing for use with most back braces.

This version of the FX1 has the narrowest dimensions of the series and can fit drivers with up to 36in waists comfortably. The standard FX1 can seat 38in waists and the FX1 wide is for riders with up to 42in waists. Every Corbeau seat requires the uses a particular seat bracket for the specific year, make and model of your car or truck. The brackets are direct replacements for the factory seats and are sold separately in sets of one for either the driver or passenger's side.
