CDC Shaker Hood Scoop Kit
Classic Design Concept's Shaker hood system is a complete, functional hood scoop kit that contain a full ram air system within its design. The Shaker kit gives your Mustang a classic, aggressive look while greatly increasing outside airflow to your S197's stock airbox or cold air system with a few modifications. Each shaker kit comes with all of the necessary parts to turn your S197 V6 into a direct homage to the Mustangs of the late '60s. The kit fits 2005 to 2009 V6 Mustangs and requires hood modifications.
The Shaker's scoop is made of aluminum and connects with a full engine dress-up cover that has complete ductwork for both the ram air system and integrated water management system that keeps moisture out of your engine compartment and air intake. Each Shaker hood is designed to function with the stock airbox and does not require a PCM recalibration. CDC's Shaker system installs using the stock hood's own built-in recess that makes cutting fairly simple and won't compromise the hood's structure.
Each Shaker kit comes with a scoop trim ring, engine dress-up cover, hardware, instructions a straightforward template to make an accurate cut. The optional factory hood scoop will need to be removed if present, and the Shaker's trim ring will not cover the leftover holes.
