Though the 2010 Mustang GT featured an upgraded cold air intake from the factory, the engineers at C & L quickly realized that Ford left a little room for improvement. About 15 rear wheel horsepower worth of improvement to be precise.
To get more power out of your 4.6L V8, C & L built a Mustang CAI that significantly improves air flow. This Mustang Cold Air Intake flows 46% better than the stock component. It will also improve the throttle response and sound of your 2010 Mustang GT, giving it a throatier muscle car rumble.
This 2010 Mustang cold air intake features a no tune calibration insert. It is design for the Mustang owner who wants to improve both the sound and the performance of his or her car without the added expense of tuning. The disadvantage of using the no-tune insert instead of having your Mustang's computer settings re-calibrated is that you will not see the same crisp throttle response that re-calibrated Mustangs enjoy.
Though, you can always purchase this "no tune" version first and then purchase the tuning upgrade later. Just be sure that you remove the "no tune" insert from the mass airflow housing if and when you re-tune your 2010 Mustang's computer settings to get optimum performance from this cold air intake.
