Comp's Xtreme XE-R cams provide your Cobra with blistering horsepower and torque across an extremely wide rpm band, and requires extensive performance upgrades to keep up with the revised cylinder airflow characteristics. All of this increased performance comes at the price of a very rough idle. This full set of four camshafts is designed to fit 1999 to 2004 Cobras with a 4V 4.6L DOHC engine and are perfect for racing use and extremely aggressive street builds.
These camshafts require PCM calibrations, a larger throttle body, a larger mass air, and exhaust upgrades like long tube headers. Cobras with automatic transmissions will require a 3000 rpm torque converter. These camshafts require Comp's Beehive valve springs (part# 26123).
