The Nitto NT555R is the high performance drag racing version of their standard NT555 tires and borrow the tread pattern and other design cues from their standard street cousin. The NT555R has strongly reinforced belts with extremely rigid tread that can handle the extreme stresses of high performance drag racing applications. This version of the NT555R measures 335/30R18 and fits wheel with 11.5" to 12.5" widths with 12" being the best fit.
Each NT555R is classified as a semi-radial tire and uses a unique formula for its tread that hss reduced heat degradation while optimally performing at a wide range of track temperatures. Nitto's tire has multiple layers of reinforcement that can withstand the extreme stresses of high-horsepower launches. The tires have enough tread to supply traction for some street use. The NT555Rs have an "A" temperature and traction grade with a 100 UTQG treadwear rating. Each tire is sold separately.
