Hawk's Quiet Slot rotor series are the perfect match to their ceramic pads to create a brake system that's practically devoid of noise. Each Quiet Slot rotor is designed as a direct stock replacement for 1999 to 2004 SVT Cobras and 2003 to 2004 Mach 1 Mustangs.
The rotors get their name from their shallow slot designs that provided out gassing outlets while still keeping up to 98% of the pads in contact with the friction surfaces at any given time. The slots also serve as wear indicators, telling you to replace the rotors when they're no longer visible. The unidirectional vane design and unique slotting combine to improve heat dissipation and provide low noise running that other performance rotors tend to suffer from.
Each rotor is coated in Hawk's GEOMET compound that is completely corrosion-resistant, environmentally friendly, and gives impressive out of the box performance. The Quiet Slot rotors work best with any of Hawk's Performance Brake pads.
