1996-2004 Mustang GT 4.6L JLT Cold Air Intake Kit

JLT specializes in designing and building some of the best Mustang cold air intakes currently available. Their designs put an emphasis on style and feature painted inlet tubing that comes in just about any color you could possibly want. Like other cold air intakes, JLT's design works by providing your engine with more air at cooler charger temperatures for extra horsepower, torque and much better throttle response. JLT's intake is designed as a direct bolt-on replacement for your factory air box and can be installed in less than an hour using common tools. This kit will fit 1996 to 2004 Mustangs with a 2V 4.6L Modular V8 engine.

The kits uses a fairly standard fender mount design with a large 6-inch S&B filter nestled into your Mustang's fender well to provide the coldest air possible. The kit comes with all necessary clamps, reducers, and other hardware to make installation an absolute breeze. The kit can produce 8 to 15 horsepower right out of the gate without any additional modifications or custom tuning. The kit can handle up to 500 horsepower, making it ideal for use with other extreme modifications.

Some Mustangs will require slight trimming of their oil fill caps due to erratic placement of the motor mounts by Ford. Mustangs equipped with an IAT sensor will require drilling into he inlet tubing for proper sensor placement. This cold air kit will not fit with a strut tower brace.
