Keeping oil of your Mustang GT's 4.6L V8 is vital for engine life and performance, but it can be difficult if you drive a high-horsepower supercharged muscle car.
Supercharged or nitrous enhanced Mustangs have very high crankcase pressures. Excess crankcase pressure is vented through the PCV system. From there it can be drawn into your Mustang's intake manifold. This air contains aerated oil from the crankcase which gets burned up by the engine. Oil vapor can coat your blower rotors, intercooler fins and degrade fuel, lowering its octane level and robbing you of power.
