While not many people have heard of the Chiller Killer system from Kincaid Performance, it's perhaps one of the most powerful and unique upgrades on the market for your supercharged SVT Cobra. The Killer Chiller system taps into your A/C system and uses the freon to cool the inbound charge air right before it hits the combustion chamber. The result is charge air that is anywhere from 40 to 55 degrees Fahrenheit cooler than the air from the intercooler alone, giving you a massive jump in horsepower and torque. This version of the Chiller Killer system is built for 2003 to 2004 SVT Cobras.
Each Chiller Killer kit comes with all necessary lines and fittings for routing the A/C and intercooler systems together. The Chiller Killer requires your A/C system to be to function, and also slightly increases cabin temperatures. However, the Chiller Killer adds up to 50 horsepower with 40ft/lbs of torque to your engine's through it's highly efficient air cooling.
The Chiller Killer has been show to not damage the A/C system and also features adjustable refrigerant levels to keep the cabin air within the user's comfort zone. The kit can generally be installed in only a few hours.
Freon notice: The Killer Chiller requires freon evacuation before installation and a recharge after.
