Kooks Long-Tube Headers
w/ Off-Road X-Pipe (1-5/8" x 2-1/2")
Kooks Custom Headers makes some of the highest-quality exhaust systems on the Mustang performance parts market, and this complete long tube headers and x-pipe package is no different. Kooks' combo package is able to add serious horsepower and torque onto your Cobra's total power output to set you a step above your competition on the track. This is manufactured with stainless steel and features 100% mandrel-bent tubing that creates an exhaust outlet nearly free of back pressure. Kooks designed this kit with a 3/8" flange that hooks directly to the exhaust ports of 2003 to 2004 Cobras and Mach 1 Mustangs with a 4V 4.6L engine.
Each header included in this kit has 1-5/8" primary tubes that lead down into a 2-1/2" collector assembly that's been specifically designed to scavenge exhaust gasses more efficiently than the factory manifolds. The headers hook up naturally to the Kook's 2-1/2" x-pipe that's also included in this package.
This x-pipe is set up for off-road use and deletes your Cobra's catalytic converters to get even bigger horsepower gains than catted mid-pipes. The Kooks off-road x-pipe is made of 2-1/2" mandrel-bent tubing that's designed to fit Kooks' headers.
This combination package comes with installation hardware and oxygen sensor extensions.

This kit requires custom tuning. We recommend taking advantage of Stage 3's custom tuning package that comes with SCT's X-Calibrator 3 handheld tuner and qualifies you for our Loyalty Tunes program.
