Magnaflow Dual Split Rear

Magnaflow provides V6 owners with the perfect option for getting that slick V8 look and aggressive sound with this complete dual-exit cat-back exhaust kit. This dual-split exhaust system bolts directly to the V6 S197's factory y-pipe and comes with all of the necessary hangars that make the entire kit a fairly simple, hassle-free bolt-on. Magnaflow's dual-exit kit fits 2005 to 2009 Mustangs with stock and most aftermarket mid-pipes.

Each of Magnaflow's kits are made entirely of stainless steel with a highly polished finish. All of the tubing is 2.5" diameter mandrel-bent tubing that makes exhaust flow more efficient for some power gains and huge exhaust notes that rival the V8's roar. The kickovers lead into two high capacity straight-through mufflers and exit from stylish 4" exhaust tips that add even more custom styling to your V6's rear end.

The instructions were very detailed and everything needed was provided in the box. The sound is incredible, by far the best sounding exhaust for a 4.0 six cylinder. Only gripe, is a rattle every once in a while when going over rough road. Overall very satisfied with the product. Also, the customer service at Stage 3 can't be beat.

4.5 stars by Brian from Buffalo NY written on June 27, 2010	magnaflow dual exhaust upgrade My son & I recently (6/10) installed the system on my 09'mustang V-6. The system was carefully packed to protect the product, and the installation was surprisingly simple. We did it in the driveway with the vehicle raised on 4 ramps. The only conflict was not having the clearance to remove the mid-pipe from over the axle (too long), I simply cut the pipe, & if I need to re-use it I could. I NEEDED FOR NOTHING FROM ANY LOCAL SHOPS, all items were included and fit well. Of course with the V-6 you have to modify the rear bumper, that was done very carefully, but easily enough with a dremel type tool. I did a lot of reviewing through several websites, on several brands, and my decision with Magnaflow was based on consumer reviews. It definitely has the stronger sound, & it looks great! It will change the interior sound levels (as expected) when your "on the peddle", personally I would like less in the interior, I will look into some form of sound deadonig for the trunk & rear seat. I shopped around, and Bill L. at Stage 3 was very patient & helpful with my purchase, I was dissapointed with a shipping issue on a 2nd item that at the time I'm authoring this, I have not yet received, but it was explained to me that this was beyond their control, & I believe that to be sincere, my compliments to magnaflow & Bill L. @ stage3.

4.5 stars by Paul Mike from Tempe, AZ written on June 18, 2009	magnaflow dual exhaust awesome sounding, kinda loud but deep, you won't get confused with import sounding exhaust. and they look awesome, chrome tipped and a little low so they show. minor performance boost, but a great combo with some headers.
