Caster Camber Plates, black powder coat finish
This set of stainless steel alignment plates from Maximum Motorsports allow you to adjust the caster and camber of you wheels by simply bolting this uniquely designed plate system directly onto your strut towers. All of the adjustments can be done at the top of the strut tower by adjusting the bolt torque on the plates. These plates fit 2005 to 2009 GT Mustangs and work best on S197s with lowering springs to adjust their wheels for minimal tire wear and higher performance.
Both the caster and camber are adjustable completely independent of each other for precise and simple adjustments. Camber can be adjusted within a 1.6 degree range while caster can be shifted up to .7 degrees allowing Maximum Motorsports' plates to readjust wheel settings on Mustangs lowered up to 2-1/2 inches. Each plate can adjust the range of suspension travel to adjust for bump travel. A Teflon-lined, spherical bearing decreases deflection and precisely fits the strut shaft while still allowing the plates to change the wheel alignment settings.
The plates install directly into the strut towers and require no drilling. Each stainless steel plate receives a black powder coat finish for extra corrosion protection. Maximum Motorsports includes installation hardware and detailed instructions with each kit.
