Maximum Motorsports Bumpsteer Kit (Tapered Stud)
Maximum Motorsport's bumpsteer kit consists of fully adjustable tie-rod ends that use a series of specialized spacers of differing heights to alter the Mustang's suspension geometry. The bumpsteer kit is designed to virtually eliminate any unwanted wheel movement during hard cornering or driving on rough roads to put more control in your hands. The kit is designed for 2005 to 2009 GT Mustangs and directly replaces the stock tie-rod ends as a direct bolt-on with no drilling or other permanent modifications.
After proper adjustments, the bumpsteer kit will reduce understeer while improving overall handling and suspension stability. Each kit comes with a set of two tie-rod ends with heat-treated, tapered studs with high-quality rolled threads. The spacer bushings are made with thick chromoly steel alloy. Each adapter sleeve has an anodized finish with an easy to reach hex fitting for smooth operation. Maximum Motorsports includes hardware and extremely detailed instructions for both installation and bump steer measurement.
