Maximum Motorsports IRS Subframe Bushings
Maximum Motorsports put this bushing package together to help get rid of the dreaded wheel hop that is a common problem on Cobras equipped with an independent rear suspension. Wheel hop is when the drive wheels gain and lose traction very rapidly while rotating. It's mostly caused by the factory rubber bushings allowing too much deflection with the suspension system allowing the tires to jump up at uncontrolled angles. These polyurethane bushings from Maximum Motorsports are more rigid than the factory variants, helping to reduce wheel hop and keeping your Cobra safe and under control. These bushings fit into the IRS subframes of 1999 to 2004 SVT Cobras. They will only fit the factory independent rear suspension setup.
These bushings have considerably less "give" than the factory rubber bushings and help stiffen up the entire IRS subframe to get rid of as much wheel hop and uncontrolled camber changes as possible. The bushings make handling more predictable and smoother without causing an extreme amount of noise, vibration, and harshness that's common with bushings made out of harder materials.
