MM IRS Differential Cooler Kit
Maximum Motorsports designed this complete IRS differential cooling kit to greatly reduce the temperatures of the differential oil to prevent overheating and severe damage to Ford's unique Traction-Lok differential system. The Cobra's differential is very different from the stock GT and has less oil capacity while having to deal with more stress and friction, especially during hard track driving and huge drag strip launches. The oil cooler will extend the life of your IRS differential and keep you running down the track or drag strip. This oil cooler will only fit 1999 to 2004 SVT Cobras still fitted with the factory independent rear suspension (IRS) system.
Maximum Motorsports' differential cooler kit comes complete with with an 11x8x2" Fluidyne oil cooler assembly with a premounted electric fan, a gear-oil pump rated to 400 degrees Fahrenheit, 15 feet of -8 Teflon-lined stainless steel braided line, standard and 90 degree AN hose fittings, check valve, rubber isolation mounts, and a complete set of installation instructions with photos. The kit is able to keep differential oil temperatures up to 20 degrees Fahrenheit cooler during extremely hard driving.
