Roush PA Performance 130 Amp Alternator Kit (Large Case)
This iteration of the 6G series from PA Performance is specifically designed for 2005 to 2008 GT Mustangs outfitted with the ROUSH M90 Supercharger series.
PA's 6G alternator is designed as a direct OEM replacement that uses the factory mounts, brackets and belt. This particular model has been modified to use the belt configuration and engine compartment placement of the M90.
The 6G is 100% new instead of being refurbished or re-manufactured like the alternators of PA Performance's competitors. The 6G not only provides more power to your Mustang, but also prevents the diode feedback that caused a CEL on the cam sensor that plagued the stock alternator.
PA's alternator can generate up to 80 amps with 2000 alternator shaft rpm at idle and up to a maximum of 160 amps with 6000 shaft rpm. Each alternator only weighs 15.2 pounds, comes with an internal voltage regulator and pulley ad a choice of color (available from our drop-down menu).
Additional modifications:
PA Performance requires an upgrade to the main power wire due to the higher voltages.
