The upgunned BA3000 MAF meter from SCT is a leaps and bounds improvement over the stock system and is specifically designed to function with the most horsepower-hungry applications for both SVT Cobras and Lightnings. The huge 90mm billet aluminum housing provides nearly unrestricted airflow and helps to prevent heat soak. The BA3000 is a direct stock replacement for 2003 and 2004 SVT Cobras and 2000 to 2004 Lightnings, but will also fit other Ford vehicles with extensive modifications.
SCT made sure the new MAF wouldn't effect everyday drivability by designing it to provide accurate readings across your engine's entire powerband, while still making it capable of supporting astonishing horsepower figures. The BA3000 can read up to 725 horsepower on centrifugal supercharger systems and up to 825 horsepower on roots-style superchargers. Each MAF can work in both blow though and draw through applications, giving you a further level of customization.
Tuning: SCT's BA3000 MAF requires custom tuning at a reputable dyno shop in order to prevent engine damage and get maximum horsepower.
