1999-2004 SVT Cobra Tokico HP Rear Shock

Tokico's Hi-Performance "HP" series of performance dampers are some of the best bang for your buck when it comes to performance suspension gear. This particular rear shock absorber is able to give your Cobra a firmer ride with less body roll, braking dive, and acceleration squat with its unique piston design and valve tuning. While not adjustable like some of its more expensive D-spec cousins, the HP series is still able to provide better suspension performance than stock and can be paired with one of our many sets of Cobra lowering springs. Tokico designed their HP series from the ground up to deliver precise and near-flawless suspension performance in a neat, extremely inexpensive package. Each shock has a specialized multi-stage variable-aperture bypass valve that allows for a wider range of suspension response than the factory shocks. The pressure tubes, rod guide, and piston are all carefully designed to promote both longevity and improved suspension performance. Even the lubricating oil of the Tokico HP shocks has been specifically engineered with performance in mind and resists breakdown and viscosity changes due to temperature differences. The shock is a direct replacement for the rear shock absorbers for the rear shocks of the IRS suspension. Each shock is sold separately.
