Diablosport Predator
Diablosport's sleek Predator tuner is designed for the 2005-2006 Mustang owner who wants to get more out of their stock or lightly modded Mustang without having to buy expensive body and engine modifications.
The Predator tuner comes preloaded wit three tunes based on 89, 91, and 93 octane fuel and can deliver an extra 15 to 20 horsepower and an extra 20 to 25ft/lbs of torque using a stock intake and 20 to 30 horsepower with 25 to 35ft/lbs of torque on Mustangs using a cold air intake. The Predator's tunes can also deliver a mileage boost for both the highway and city on top of better acceleration and throttle response.
The Predator automatically reads the Mustang's PCM configuration and saves the stock format for later use. Each of the Predators tunes adjusts fuel curves, timing curves, speed limiter and RPM limiters for specific fuel octanes. All tunes are adjustable using the editable parameters found in the tuning files (timing adjustments, RPM limits, shift points, etc) and up to five tunes can be saved on the Predator at any given time.
The Predator features a data logging feature that can store up to 30 minutes of live data or 90 minutes of slow data that can be viewed on a Windows PC using Diablosport's free DAT Viewer application.
Many dealers of CAI systems and other aftermarket accessories have customized tunes for their products. Only use tunes designed for those specific parts by an authorized dealer and tuner.
Custom tuning:
Customers with heavily or lightly modified Mustangs (with superchargers, turbochargers, aftermarket fuel systems, throttle bodies, etc.) may need more specific tuning than Diablosport and the Predator can provide.
