Diablosport Predator
This version of Diablosport's Predator tuner is purpose-designed for the 2007-2009 GT, GT500 and V6 Mustangs. The Predator comes preloaded with three custom tune for 93 octane fuel, a 95mm MAF tune and a95mm MAF/2.73in pulley tune that can boost horsepower by 15 to 20hp and add 15 to 20ft/lbs of torque on the GTs and V6s without a cold air intake and 20 to 30hp with 25 to 35ft/lbs on a GT with a CAI. The Mustang GT500 can gain an extra 35 to 40hp and 35 to 45 ft/lbs of torque using standard tunes, 50 to 60hp with 50 to 60ft/lbs of torque using a specialized pulley tune and over 80hp with the pulley tune and CAI system.
The Predator's specialized tunes can increase mileage while increasing power and throttle response for improved handling by adjusting timing curves, fuel curves, RPM limiters and speed limiters.
The Predator can instantly read the Mustang's PCM using the standard OBD II ports and saves the stock tuning in case a reversion is required later. Each of the Preadtor's tunes is adjustable using the parameters found in the tuning files(shift points, RPM limits, air/fuel mixture, etc.), and the Predator can save up to five custom tunes at any given time.
Diablosport's tuner offers 30 minutes of live data logging or 90 minutes of slow logging that can be viewed using their free DAT Viewer software available for Windows PCs.
Many dealers use specific Predator tunes for their products. Only use tunes specifically designed for your aftermarket parts by authorized dealers and tuners.
Custom tuning:
Customers with heavily or lightly modified Mustangs (with superchargers, turbochargers, aftermarket fuel systems, throttle bodies, etc.) may need more specific tuning than Diablosport and the Predator can provide.
