2005-2006 Mustang V6 4.0L Vortech Supercharger Kit

This variant of the Vortech V-3 supercharger is capable of pushing the stock S197's 4.0L Cologne V6 up to 290 horsepower with 294ft/lbs of torque when using the supplied tune from Vortech. The V-3 is a complete centrifugal supercharger system that can push the V6 Mustangs well past the performance thresholds of stock GTs. Each V-3 includes a variety of engine and fuel system overhauls all designed to support the new found power. Vortech's kit is designed to fit 2005 to 2006 Mustangs and can come in either a satin or polished finish available as options from our drop-down menu.

Each V-3 kit comes standard with a 3.60", 6-rib pulley that can pull up to 8psi of boost out of Vortech's supercharger. A new 98mm MAF housing with a high-capacity air filter and silicone tubing and stainless clamps provide the V-3 with all of the necessary air for flawless function. An integrated bypass valve prevents surging to prevent supercharger damage. New fuel injectors are a standard part of each kit that have higher flow rates than stock. Full oil drain and return assemblies allow the V-3 to self-lubricate and does not require specialized supercharger oil like older centrifugal designs.

Vortech includes a Diablosport Predator handheld tuner preloaded with a 91-octane tune that calibrates your Mustang's PCM with a conservative tune that still allows huge power gains without engine damage. Each kit includes installation hardware, instructions and a billet mounting plate for the supercharger itself. This V-3 kit is 50-state legal for street use.
