2007-2008 Mustang V6 4.0L Vortech Supercharger Kit

Vortech's complete V-3 supercharger kit uses one of their trusted, self-lubricating centrifugal superchargers to push the 4.0L Cologne V6 of the S197s up into the power ranges of the GT's big V8. The Vortech V-3 uses a sophisticated design that allows the supercharger to create huge power gains while remaining extremely quiet. This full kit includes several other engine compartment modifications that combine with the V-3 and a specialized Vortech tune to push the V6's total power output up to 290 horsepower with 294ft/lbs of torque. This version of Vortech's V-3 kit fits 2007 and 2008 V6 Mustangs.

The V-3 kit generates up to 8psi of boost at 6000rpm using a 6-rib, 3.60" pulley and extended serpentine belt. A 98mm MAF housing with a high-flow synthetic filter replaces the stock airbox and delivers the massive amount of cool air required by the Vortech supercharger through silicone hose assemblies with stainless steel clamps. Large, high capacity fuel injectors provide the engine with enough fuel to meet the new airflow considerations. Each kit comes with oil feed and drain systems that keep the V-3 lubricated even while at maximum boost. A bypass valve is a standard part of each V-3 kit and prevents surges for predictable, safe driving.

Vortech includes all necessary installation hardware including a billet mounting bracket that gives the V-3 a factory appearance. A Diablosport Predator handheld tuner comes with every kit and is preloaded with a conservative Vortech tune. The V-3 is 50-state emissions legal and come in a choice of either a satin or polished finish available from our drop-down menu.
