2007-2008 Mustang V6 4.0L Vortech Supercharger Kit - Intercooled

This version of the complete Vortech V-3 Supercharger kit includes a highly efficient air to water intercooler that allows Vortech's self-lubricating, centrifugal supercharger design to boost the total power output of the S197's Cologne V6 up to 330 horsepower with 337ft/lbs of torque, a figure generally reserved for modified V8s of the same model years. Vortech's kit includes upgrades for the intake, fuel and computer systems that maximize the overall efficiency of the quiet and sophisticated V-3 supercharger system. This kit is specifically designed to fit 2007 and 2008 V6 Mustangs.

The included intercooler uses a dual-pass charge cooler configuration to gain extra power over the standard V-3 kit and to give the supercharger itself a longer, fairly maintenance-free lifespan. Each V-3 kit comes with an integrated bypass valve that prevents surges from making the Mustang uncontrollable and causing engine damage. The V-3 receives all 10psi of its boost from a 6-rib, 3.25" pulley and an elongated serpentine belt. High-capacity fuel injectors and a new 98mm MAF housing with silicone hosing and stainless steel clamps feed the V-3 with enough air and fuel to guarantee maximum performance under nearly any condition. Oil feed and drain assemblies allow the supercharger to self-lubricate instead of requiring additional oil like older designs.

Each V-3 kit comes with a billet mounting plate that gives the system a factory appearance with excellent fitment. Vortech includes a Diablosport Predator handheld tuner preloaded with a safe tune from Vortech that boost power without pushing the supercharger to failure. This kit includes installation hardware and detailed instructions. The V-3 is 50-state emissions legal and comes with a choice of either a satin or polished finish available from our drop-down menu.
