The two front brakes included with this kit are based around 14" rotors that can come either slotted or drilled and slotted, the options for both being available from our drop-down menu. Each rotor comes standard with a black electro-coating to optimize corrosion resistance. The specialized drilling patterns and vane designs reduce heat buildup while the slots aid in expelling pad gasses for minimized fade under heavy use. Wilwood's rotors have a 1.25" width, giving them just enough surface area to make full contact with the pads and pistons keep their overall weights low.
Wilwood's calipers are machined from billet aluminum and contain six stainless steel pistons with over four squared inches of surface area. Each radially-mounted caliper has a closed-bridge design with five bolts that provide the structural strength needed to stand up to the toughest road and track conditions. Wilwood's calipers come in a choice of red or black powder coating that is available from our drop-down menu.
These front brakes require at least an 18-inch wheel.

The rear brakes feature 13 inch rotors that utilize the same design principles as the front with lighter, more efficient construction than stock blanks that also more adequately vent heat and brake gasses over stock blanks.
The real story behind the real brakes is Wilwood's unique caliper design. Each caliper is actually a dual-purpose parking and standard braking protocols integrated into a single system. The rear caliper uses a mechanical parking brake along with standard hydraulic braking mechanisms for normal operation. The radial-mounted caliper constantly maintains a perfect position over the rotor to ensure accurate braking at all times. The calipers come in a choice of black or red powder coats from our drop-down menu.
