2005 Mustang V6 X-Charger Supercharger Kit - HI-PO Plus w/o Tuner

The complete X-Charger supercharger system from Explorer Express is specifically to give the 4.0L Cologne V6 of the S197 Mustangs a massive horsepower and torque boost without sacrificing fuel economy or everyday street drivability. The X-Charger is capable of adding up to 100 horsepower and 80ft/lbs of torque onto the Mustang's engine while keeping fuel consumption down to around 25mpg. The kit includes a new intake system that replaces the stock airbox as well as a 2.8" pulley that gives the X-Charger up to 10psi of boost. The kit will fit 2005 V6 Mustangs and requires custom tuning at a local dyno for proper performance and function.

Each X-Charger comes standard with a new 84mm MAF housing that uses a high-capacity K&N filter and 3.5" ID rubber hose to keep the entire system supplied with enough cool charge air. A bypass valve is integrated into the head unit that prevents boost surges during low-rpm operations to give the Mustang better gas mileage and more predictable response without lag. New spark plugs and other hardware are also included.

The X-Charger kit is one of the easier to install supercharger systems currently on the market with its step-by-step, detailed instructions and complete set of hardware.
